Owners not in residence, please forward to your tenant if applicable.
On Monday 1 June, the Western Cape will move to Level 3 under the Covid-19 governmental regulations. Please note the following important changes to the Sandown Crescent Resident’s Protocol:
1. Private household employment
a. Domestic workers and all other Private household employment is permitted to return so long as all “relevant health protocols, social distancing measures for persons employed in private residences” are adhered to.
b. Domestic workers and all other Private household employees’ contact details must be sent to Trafalgar for the specific unit that they will be entering – Full Name, Address, Cell Phone number and ID or Passport number
c. Once this is received by Trafalgar, instructions will be given to security to allow access
d. Please give the Trustees & Managing Agent 48 hours to process
e. The Worker will need to wear a face mask upon entry to the premises

f. Security will be conducting temperature screenings on all domestic workers, estate agents and contractors, prior to granting entry to the premises.
2. Exercise & Movement within the complex
a. The government exercise guidelines will apply (6am – 6pm)
b. Minors will have to be accompanied by their legal guardian or someone under the employment of the legal guardian
c. Communal areas (braai and pool areas) will continue to be closed until further notice
d. We encourage social distancing as per the government regulations

3. Contractors
a. Contractors and service professionals are only allowed entry under prior arrangement with Trafalgar.
b. Contact details of the contractor are to be sent to Trafalgar with the specific unit that they will be entering, as well as date and times they will be on site.
c. Once this is received by Trafalgar, instructions will be given to security to allow access.
d. Please give the Trustees & Managing Agent 48 hours to process
e. All contractors will need to wear a face mask upon entry to the premises and while working within the premises.

We’d also like to reiterate the following important regulations which remain in place:
- Social visits are not permitted – this includes visits between units within the complex.
- If at any stage you leave your unit, you are requested to please wear a mask at all times – this includes a short pop down to the rubbish bins or to your car.
- Pets are not allowed at Sandown Crescent
We are taking guidance from the latest Risk Adjusted Regulations Gazette no. 43364 28 May 2020 that could change from time to time, in which case we will notify Owners/Residents.
